Hi, thanks for commenting and sorry for late response. There are few things to consider. First of all, distance and wind. On a normal day, with no wind and a distance of 250 mt I usually get 5/6 drops. Return always in sport mode. You also need to consider if you want to make a video or not. I had bad experiences using my phone so I decided to buy the RC remote. Way better in communication. With the phone if you looks connection you can’t tell the real status of the battery. I generally try to leave at least 10 minutes of battery.

@@4WLEX interesting mate, I was curious what length of rod would suit both surf and estuary fishing. You've confirmed around 10ft would be alright cheers

@samwalsh785 I guess depend (in my personal opinion) on the casting. If you fish in beaches where you know there is a gutter, you don’t need long rods. I actually find this rod (5-9 kg I think it is), to be perfect for surf fishing. Cast like a dream and it’s both sensible and strong (the rest of the fight it’s on you and your reel). But of course if you need to cast over the waves, different story.

Sorry mate, I was working and couldn’t take time to answer properly. Yes, the encounter was spectacular, I felt was my own pet 🤣 I honestly wished the footages were better but, too many things to consider: Water Depth, Light direction.. Probably in the ocean would be way better.
